DO YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT ALREADY?

If this is your first visit to car.org, you do not yet have an account established and will need to register on our site. Use the Register link on the "sign in" page to create your new account.

Don't remember if you've previously signed up? If we locate an old account for you during the registration process, we will let you know. You may then attempt to use the Forgot Username or Password account recovery tools to reset your existing login credentials.

I FORGOT MY USERNAME OR PASSWORD.

If you forgot your login credentials or got the error "Incorrect username or password. Please try again," you can reset your account via email or text message--if a cell phone number was added to your profile.
Follow these steps:

  1. Click the SIGN IN button in the top-right corner of the website.
  2. Below the password input field, click Forgot Username or Password.
  3. Enter your NRDS or BRE license number.
  4. Choose from the available reset methods. Note: text message is only available if a cell phone number was added to your profile.
    • Email Option: if you select email, an email containing a link to reset your account will be sent to the email address in your profile. Please check your inbox or spam filter if necessary.
    • Text Option: if you choose Text Message, we will send a text message with a verification code to the cell phone number in your profile. Enter this 6-digit verification code on our site to reset your account.
Note: the text message option only appears if a cell phone number is available in your profile.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY "FIND A REALTOR®" PROFILE AND PREFERENCES?

You may update the information shown on Find a REALTOR® by accessing your "Account Settings" (see screenshot above). To do so, please log in and click on your name in the top-right corner of the website. Select Account Settings from the drop-down list. You may update your photo, personal description, personal website, email address, cell phone,  specializations, languages, and cities served here.

Note: Your name, office name, and office contact information must be changed with your local association directly.

WHAT DOES "RESTRICTED ACCESS" MEAN?

Our website contains pages for a wide range of audiences. Some pages are public, while others are restricted and require password protection. When a page is protected, only certain audiences are allowed to view its content. Should you encounter a "Restricted Access" message, your account does not match the allowed audience group to view the posted content. If you believe this to be an error and require access to this page, please contact our Customer Contact Center at (213) 739-8227.
